The National Law Center for Children and Families held its 20th PROTECTS seminar on March 17th and 18th in Tampa, Florida. Law enforcement officers as well as probation and parole officers attended this two day event which took place at the Corporate Training Center – Hillsborough Community College. Attendees who came from various Florida jurisdictions received training on sex offender management, basic computer/ internet forensics and other child exploitation issues.
Richard Whidden, the Executive Director of the National Law Center, said “We are pleased with the response to the 20th NLC PROTECTS Seminar. It is a milestone for our organization to have produced quality training for about 1900 attendees from coast to coast.”
The organization also received positive feedback from seminar participants. One attendee states: “Enjoyed seminar very much, will attend future seminars.” Another adds: “Outstanding information. Thank you!”
